Hi, I’m Alys!
(pronounced “Alyse”)
My journey in birth work began as a doula in Atlanta, where I had the privilege of supporting numerous families through some of the most intimate and significant moments of their lives. Relocating to Tulsa has allowed me to expand my reach as I continue my mission of providing holistic and heartfelt care to families in my new home state.
I currently serve as a board member of the Birth Emancipation Advocacy Council (BEAC), advocating for birth workers and helping mediate concerns within the community. In addition, I work as a project manager for the Women In Ministry Institute (WIMI) and oversee WIMI extension courses in partnership with METBM. Through these roles, I am committed to supporting and empowering birth professionals and women in their journeys
When I'm not working, I am most likely to be found enjoying life with my children, who are my inspiration and my greatest joy. I enjoy reading, crafting, and home improvement projects in my free time. These activities bring me comfort and allow me to recharge and stay grounded.
Though a devout introvert, I am making a solid effort to get involved with various community organizations and events, so look for me as I continue to get acquainted with my new home. I look forward to supporting you and your family on your journey to self-healing.
Peace & Love,
B. Alys Russell-Tyler
